Job Description:
We are seeking professional, reliable, and safety-conscious Minibus Drivers to join a well-established and growing transport company based in Stanton Harcourt. This is a part-time role, offering 25 hours per week, where you’ll play an essential role in delivering exceptional transport services across Oxfordshire and beyond, ensuring passengers enjoy a comfortable, safe, and punctual journey every time.
As a Minibus Driver, you’ll be responsible for operating a modern and well-maintained fleet of minibuses, working on a variety of assignments, including school transport, corporate travel, private hires, and event logistics. Your responsibilities as a Minibus Driver include:
- Safely operate a modern, well-maintained fleet of minibuses on scheduled routes and ad-hoc assignments.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and helpful service to all passengers, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey.
- Transport passengers for a variety of needs, including school runs, corporate travel, private hires, and event logistics.
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to planned schedules while remaining adaptable to last-minute changes.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues to ensure safety and compliance.
- Ensure all passengers are accounted for and their safety is maintained throughout the journey.
- Follow all relevant transport laws, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, including journey logs and incident reports, when necessary.
The requirements as a Minibus Driver include:
- Valid D1 license (or equivalent) with no more than six penalty points.
- Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification (if required for the role).
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
- Previous experience driving minibuses or passenger vehicles is preferred but not essential.
- Strong awareness of road safety and transport regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, flexible, and able to manage different routes and schedules.
- Professional, courteous, and well-presented at all times.
Shift Times:
For this position you will be working part time hours. This will be Monday - Friday with 2.5 hours in the morning and 2.5 hours in the afternoon.
PAY RATES:
£14.50 per hour.
Start Dates / Induction Process:
Upon application, if you are deemed suitable for this position, you will be required to attend an interview with the client, during which you will demonstrate your level of driving skills.
After this, you will be put on a 1 Week paid training course whilst your enhanced DBS check is returned. (This may take longer than 1 week to arrive).
Once returned, you will then be put onto your chosen shift pattern (either Full Time or Part Time).
