Your responsibilities as a Machine / General Operative include:

  • Operate machinery used in powder coating and surface preparation processes
  • Load and unload components onto jigs, racks, and conveyors
  • Assist in masking, packaging, and quality checking of finished parts
  • Prepare aluminium surfaces for treatment using manual and automated tools
  • Ensure products are processed to exact specifications and finish standards
  • Always maintain a clean and safe working area
  • Follow all health & safety procedures and report any equipment faults or hazards
  • Support other general warehouse and production duties as required

The requirements as a Machine / General Operative include:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment preferred
  • Confident operating machinery and handling tools (training will be provided)
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes

Shift Times:

AM Shift - 06:00 - 14:00

PM Shift - 14:00 - 22:00

NIGHT Shift - 22:00 - 06:00

PAY RATES:

£12.86 per hour [AM Shift]

£13.98 per hour [PM Shift]

£19.29 per hour [NIGHT shift]

Start Dates / Induction Process:

We are currently recruiting staff for an immediate start with an induction taking place and full training being provided.
