Job Description:

As a vital member of the Gregory's team in the role of Transport Administrator, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the swift and punctual delivery of goods from the Banbury depot to a diverse array of clients situated throughout the United Kingdom.

Beyond route planning, your role will encompass fostering communication and collaboration across multiple fronts. You will liaise closely with drivers, warehouse personnel, and clients to guarantee that the transportation process unfolds seamlessly.

Your responsibilities at a Transport Administrator will include:

• Collaborate closely with dispatchers and logistics teams to strategize and plan optimal delivery routes.

• Maintain accurate and organized records of all transportation activities, including delivery schedules and shipping manifests.

• Provide regular updates on delivery statuses to clients and customers, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

• Collaborate with warehouse teams to strategize load planning.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and customers, serving as a point of contact for transportation-related inquiries.

The requirements of this role as a Transport Administrator include:

• Proven experience in transportation coordination, logistics, or a related administrative role.

• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) or similar software tools. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with drivers, clients, and internal teams.

• Proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Shift Times:

20:00 – 04:00

Monday - Friday

Pay Rates:

£14.00 per hour
