Job Description:

We are seeking skilled, reliable, and safety-focused 7.5T Drivers to join a well-established and fast-growing transport and logistics company based at their Banbury depot. As a 7.5T Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and secure transportation of palletised goods to a variety of destinations. From local drops to national routes, you’ll represent the company on the road, delivering not only goods but exceptional service at every stop.

Your responsibilities as a 7.5t Driver include:

• Carry out multi-drop and single-drop deliveries and collections across the UK, ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time.
• Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are handled with care and correctly secured for transit.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork in line with company and industry standards.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point, maintaining a professional and friendly manner.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations, company procedures, and driver compliance standards.

The requirements as a 7.5t Driver include:

• A valid 7.5T (C1) licence with CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Previous experience in a professional driving role, ideally in palletised or general haulage.
• Strong focus on safety, reliability, and customer service.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work varying routes and schedules, including occasional early starts or late finishes.
• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Shift Times:

Monday - Friday

6/7am start times

8 hour shifts

PAY RATES:

£14.50 per hour

Start Dates / Induction Process:

You will be required to do a walk round showing your experience and competence in working with 7.5t vehicles. Upon successful completion you will be taken on, on a full time basis.
