Quality Technician – Bicester

Our client, a growing technology based company situated in Bicester, are currently recruiting for a Quality Technician to join their team at their brand new site.

The Role:

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Measurements of components using both a coordinate measuring machine and hand held equipment, along with measuring of components for surface finishes

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings

• Ensuring all works records and inspection data is completed at all times

• Assisting in controlling quarantined parts and proving support for corrective action systems

• Evaluating components using visual examination against standards

• Assisting the Senior Quality Engineer with the day to day running’s and inspections

The Person:

This is an entry level position, with opportunity for training and progression. However, some experience in a quality inspection environment is desirable.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and knowledge:

• GCSE’s (or equivalent) qualifications in both Maths and English

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with have an excellent accuracy and attention to detail

• The ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, along with having excellent organisational skills and the ability to organise your own workload

• Have a willingness to learn and be able to work both independently and part of a team

Hours: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:30
