Customer Service Supervisor – Middlesex  

My client, a well-known Aviation Company is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor to join their team.

The Role:

Main duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Being the first point of contact for all escalated customer queries and effectively supporting and maintaining relationships with integrators and suppliers

  • Supporting the Customer Service Manager with supervision of staff and ensuring daily reports are completed by the customer service team

  • Running reports using the system and tracking overseas agents for information on deliveries and ensuring they arrive on time

  • Responsible for account issues and resolving credit claims and damage claims, working alongside the accounts department 

  • Monitoring the phones, emails and department outlook mailbox

  • Import and Spot Rate Quoting as required, along with updating the bespoke system with data relating to the tracking

  • Assist with staff training and be Acting Manager in the Customer Service Manager’s absence

The Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have the below experience and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an international courier company is essential, with a minimum of 6 months’ experience

  • An Air Cargo Security Training Certificate is desired, but not essential as full training can be given   

  • High level customer service skills and good attention to detail

  • Good and accurate data entry skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages

  • Ability to work on your own initiative and have experience of troubleshooting

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal


All candidates must be able to provide their last 5 years residential and working history with written references along with wet signatures. You will also be required to have a CRC check completed before starting employment.

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30

Salary: Up to £25,000 per year dependent on experience
