Engineering Maintenance Manager
We are looking for hands on engineering maintenance manager who is capable of working in an ever changing dynamic environment. As engineering maintenance manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the engineering team on site ensuring the full maintenance and functionality of the assets on site. As part of the role full facilities maintenance management is required using the current engineering team.
You will be responsible for effectively managing the engineering team to reduce breakdowns through PPM and critical path analysis of downtime, you must be able to work autonomously and also as part of the on site management team.
You will ensure that you contribute heavily to the site kpi’s through effective engineering task management including best practices used around the business, parts valuation and stock control.
Health and safety is paramount and you and your team will be conversant in health and safety practices along with correct contractor management on site
You must be flexible towards the needs of the business, able to travel to receive training, forward thinking, able to think on your feet, a good problem solver whilst offering cost effective innovative solutions.
You will have experience in managing engineering maintenance teams as well as food factory experience
You will be required to conduct team tool box talks, 1:1 pdr reviews and drive training for the team to ensure that the necessary skills required for the tasks are received for each team member
Min qualifications required or equal to
Health & Safety – IOSH, NEBOSH
Engineering – Mechanical engineering NVQ L3, C&G L3
Engineering – Electrical engineering NVQL3, C&GL3
Other skills advantageous – IPAF licence, confined space training, duty hold experience, Legionella awareness
Audit experience – Understand and have worked with auditors to attain BRC and other customer required standards
