Appointment Setters Job Description.
We are looking for Telemarketers to work as part of our vibrant team in the Banbury office. The
successful candidates will be comfortable speaking on the phone all day to fill the Business
Development Managers Diaries and support the Head of Marketing with following up Marketing
Campaigns and Data Cleansing.
We are looking for upbeat, motivated professionals who get inspired by the idea of commission plus
a basic salary.
Appointment Setters responsibilities.
Place phone calls to potential clients from the company database.
Place phone calls to existing customers to arrange sales meetings.
Have a good geographical knowledge of the UK to manage your dedicated Business
Development Managers diaries efficiently.
Follow a script (with necessary adjustments) to ensure consistency of the sales program.
Follow up calls after sales meetings.
Be able to keep records of calls on the company CRM software.
Assist in cleansing the company database.
Follow up on Marketing Campaigns.
Refer customer complaints to Customer Services.
Communicate respectfully and politely with potential customers at all times.
Appointment Setters requirements.
Proven experience as telemarketer or similar sales/customer service role.
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quotas over the phone.
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in English.
Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.
Persistent and results-oriented.
Patient and able to handle customer rejection.
Proven experience in managing sales diaries.
